Special Story on Hyderabad Metro Rail Project problems

Soon after controversy erupts on Hyderabad metro rail project, there is another twist in Metro Rail Project. Urban Development Ministry has issued a gazette notification on Tuesday evening stating that no changes in the alignment is permitted in metro corridors-1,2 and 3.

If changes are required a bill has to be passed in the Parliament. The project which was initially under the Tramways Act is now brought under Metro Act. This notification clearly identifies all the corridors route map along with number of stations.

The first corridor between Miyaput and L.B Nagar will have 27 Metro stations with a depo at Miyapur. The notification also made it clear that metro project will be on elevated platform and can?t be constructed underground to save any structures. Urban Ministry officials are saying that after considering all the things they have issued this gazette.
