Bathukamma celebrations in Telangana secretariat
Women employees are celebrating Bathukamma festival at Telangana Secretariat. It's a festival times for these employees. We can see the hands used to turn the files are now clapping for Bathukamma songs. This is the first Bathukamma festival after Telengana is achieved.
The ladies said that they got tired fighting for state for the last 60 years and they used to celebrate with fear but now after making it a state festival they are fearless and feeling at home. We see women groups singing and dancing enthusiastically.
They have been told to work till 3pm only. 10 lakhs are sanctioned per district and 10 crores allotted for this festival. Also GO's are being passed so that they can get salary on 26th.
