Unknown persons fire at businessman in KBR Park in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Unidentified persons targetted Aurobindo Pharma managing director Nityananda Reddy's car on Wednesday morning at the KBR park in Hyderabad.
The firing took place at the high profile Banjara Hills area, where many VIPs are known to come for their morning walks at the park.
Three shots were fired, as locals reported hearing loud gunshots near the area. The attackers have escaped.
Jubilee Hills inspector Muralikrishna said that Nityananda Reddy was safe from the firing that took place.
The miscreants are suspected to have used AK-47 automatic weapons for the firing.
Police and ballistic experts from the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Labs rushed to the spot to get further details.
