Rs 1000 crores loss to Telengana Govt in Metro Project

Rs 1000 crores loss to Telengana Govt in Metro Project

Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR and L&T Company somehow managed to come to a consensus on Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. So, everyone thought that the second phase of the project may have a smooth run. But, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy once again bounces back today with fresh allegations against Telangana state government and the industrialist Rameswar Rao.

He alleges that state government had lost Rs.300 crores due to land transaction with Rameswar Rao. Revanth claims that it can be found from the official records of the state government. He said, however the actual loss may be much higher than it. He said it may be around Rs.1000 crores. He said that he still sticks to his allegations and can prove them, if Speaker Madhusudhanachary constitutes a committee to find out the facts. He appealed the Speaker to lift the ban on him so as he can attend the house proceedings and bring this matter to members’ notice. He appealed the Speaker to initiate a discussion on this issue in the house to know the facts.

Earlier, Rameswar rao has served legal notices to Revanth Reddy for making false allegations against him. However, when Revanth Reddy welcomes the legal action, Rameswar rao become silent. Revanth Reddy also maintains silence all these days, but now after a small pause, he hits the media with these latest allegations. So, it is Rameswar Rao and Telangana Government’s turn now to serve the ball.

However, if Revanth Reddy is so confident that his allegations are genuine and worth discussing in the house, then instead of hitting the media at regular intervals, first if he approach the court against the government and the concerned person, people also may believe him, otherwise they may think it is just a political stunt to catch their attention.
