New president for Panchayat Raj Chamber
Vijayawada: Pamidi Venkatrao of Prakasam district has been elected president of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Chamber on Tuesday.
The general body meeting of the chamber elected the new office-bearers for the year 2014-16. The other office-bearers included K Madhusudhana Rao of Guntur district as vice-president, M Ramakrishna Reddy of Krishna as general secretary, G Yadhusekhar Nayudu of Chittoor as executive secretary, T Koulutlayya of Kurnool, J Chandramouli of Srikakulam and K Satyanarayana of Vizianagaram district were elected secretaries of the chamber.
The newly-elected body felicitated the chamber’s founder president and former MLC Y V B Rajendra Prasad and the president Pamidi Venkatrao.
