Crorepati CM Chandrababu Naidu is now a millionaire
Hyderabad: Four months ago, before the general elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was a crorepati; but after becoming Chief Minister he is now only a millionaire. In the recent general elections, Mr Naidu had shown his total personal assets to be worth Rs 10.63 crore, but in the latest declaration of assets he has stated that he is worth only Rs 70.69 lakh.
In the election affidavit, Mr Naidu had stated that his family’s total assets were worth Rs 177.48 crore and liabilities were RS 16.34 crore. However, he had not shown his son, Mr Lokesh, and his wife, Ms Brahmini’s assets in the election affidavit. In the latest declaration, the Chief Minister’s total family assets have been shown as worth Rs 60 crore and liabilities around Rs 25 crore.
