Varun Tej lost weight for Mukunda
Mega prince Varun Tej has made a splash entry into Tollywood and audiences left perplexed with his charming firstlook posters.
The young actor from Mega camp looked astonishing with perfect shape and looks. But, what we hear from sources is Varun was nearly 100 Kgs before he has signed the movie.
"Varun had lost over 30 kg to get in to the perfect shape. After Megastar Chiranjeevi gave the nod to director Srikanth Addala's script, Varun went on a strenuous fitness regime for three months," informs a source.
Infact, Varun has personally handpicked his costumes for the movie. "He did a lot of research and even traveled to HongKong to pick clothes and accessories for the movie," source added
Speaking further, source admited that Varun got injured many times during the shooting, but then her refused to use a body double and did all the sunt sequences by himself.
Varun plays a happy go lucky young man from a village in Mukunda and Pooja Hegde is his love interest.
