Dil Raju behind 'Ala Ela' postponement

'Andhala Rakshasi' fame Rahul Ravindra, Vennela Kishore, Bhanu Sri Mehra, Kushi and Hebha Patel are acting in the leads in the movie, 'Ala Ela'.

Anish Krishna is the director of this movie. This film is all set for a release on Nov 28th. The team said that though they have initially planned to release the film on Nov 21st, Dil Raju, who is releasing it in the Nizam area, advised them to release the film in good number of theatres as the content is very good and so they are releasing the film on 28th.

The team is also planning innovative posters for publicity. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director and Sai Sriram is the cinematographer of this film.

Star Producer joined hands with KV & Prakash Raj

Ace director Krishna Vamsi is back with his creative style and his latest film ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ scored a decent hit. Now the award winning director is getting ready for his first bilingual film.

We already reported that KV will direct a film as well as produce the bilingual film jointly with versatile actor Prakash Raj. Now, ace producer Dil Raju has also joined to invest in the movie to be made as Telugu, Tamil bilingual.

Krishna Vamsi prepared the script long ago and he narrated it to Prakash Raj during shooting of Govindudu Andarivadele. As Prakash Raj liked the script, he accepted to associate with the movie.

It may be recalled here that Krishna Vamsi and Prakash Raj were not in talking terms before Govindudu happened. Now, Dil Raju who is showing special interest on small time films has come forward to collaborate with the two genius people.

It is yet to be known whether KV will make the movie with all newcomers or rope in medium range stars.

Making films my priority, not starring in them, says Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza's last big screen outing was a Bengali film in 2012 and the actress, who has turned movie producer, says acting has taken a backseat as she is enjoying the process of filmmaking.

The 32-year-old actress co-owns Born Free Entertainment with her husband Sahil Sangha and they have produced films like Love Breakups Zindagi and Bobby Jasoos.

Dia says there have been several acting offers but she has not taken up any project as she is yet to make her mind about returning to movies.

"There have been offers but nothing is decided right now. I am really enjoying being part of the filmmaking process for now. I would definitely want to come in front of the camera and do a film. I enjoyed that phase of my career. May be next year I will be able to finally take a call on the film which I will star in," Dia said in an interview.

The former beauty queen, who has acted in films like Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, has not not ruled out starring in a film made by her production company.

"I never founded the production house with the aim to create movies for me. But having said that, I feel there is nothing wrong with it. A lot of people here and in the west do it. I will also do it if a great script comes my way. But my focus is to build our production house at the moment."

Dia, who got married last month to Sangha, said they are currently busy working on two film scripts. The actress said that like their last film Bobby Jasoos, starring Vidya Balan, which was about a Hyderabadi woman aspiring to become a detective despite facing a series of obstacles, their upcoming projects will also have a social message.

"As producers we are leaving no stones unturned. We are working very hard. The good news is that there are two very good scripts that we are developing and very soon we will be able to make an announcement regarding it. We as a production company aim to make films which are socially relevant. Our endeavour is to give a message without sounding preachy," the actress said.

Aditya Roy Kapur receives a blood written letter on his birthday

Aditya Roy Kapur who celebrated his birthday this year in Kashmir shooting for his next film Fitoor was in for a big surprise.While he was away, Aditya learnt from his team that a huge fan of his had sent him an unusual letter at home.

This unusual letter came to him from a girl who expressed her wish to marry the heartthrob in the letter using her own blood. Source close to the actor revealed that the girl hails from Aligarh.

Aditya Roy Kapur was extremely overwhelmed and at the same time worried about the girl and the extent to which his fans are going to show their love for him. Given the massive fan following that Aditya enjoys, majorly among the girls, such requests were sure to pour in.

When contacted, Aditya Roy Kapur shared, "I did not know how to react when I got to know about this. It was surprising and at the same time overwhelming. I owe everything to my fans. I'm extremely grateful for all the love but to this extent is worrisome."

Mahesh Babu to Endorse a Hospital

Rainbow Super Speciality Hospital in Hyderabad has always been in the good books of Mahesh Babu ever since Namrata gave birth to her first child. Gautham Krishna faced health issues soon after his birth and the doctors here took special care to ensure he was out of danger.

Hence, Mahesh will have time for Rainbow Hospital on any day no matter how much busy he might be! Reportedly, Rainbow Hospitals Management felt the need to promote their brand aggressively and they can't find better star than Prince to spread the reach. Even Mahesh responded positively and shot for the Ad which was directed by his good friend Trivikram Srinivas.

This commercial will go on air soon...! Mahesh Babu and Trivikram gonna team up yet again for a feature film. This film will go on floors in the second half of 2015 and this would be Mahesh's next after Koratala Siva's project.

Nikesha Patel injured in Horse riding

Southern actress Nikesha Patel's first tryst with horse riding on the sets of her Kannada film "Aaalone" and Tamil thriller "Karaioram" has left her badly bruised.

Nikesha tweeted on Wednesday

Nikesha, who is currently enjoying the successful run of her Kannada film "Namaste Madam", has Tamil films "Narathan" and "Sigandi" in the pipeline.

Nikesha is also awaiting the release of Telugu film "RUM".

In Aug 27, 2013 she suffered by some injuries during the shoot of her Tamil remake of the Telugu film Ala Modalaindi.

Pawan Kalyan buys land in Vizag?

According to grapevine, actor-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said to have bought a land in Vizag's posh, busy area. Pawan apparently doled out a hefty sum to own the property in the port city. And it's learnt that it's just residential land and not a commercial property.

Amid widespread speculations that Telugu Film Industry has plans to shift its base to Vizag or Tada, and already several from film fraternity, including Telangana, bought lands in and around Vizag, Pawan Kalyan buying land is setting tongues wagging in T-town. However, we hear that it's more like an investment keeping future in mind and the actor-politician said to have no immediate plans to shift his base.

Meanwhile, real-estate sector in Vizag is booming especially post Hudhud cyclone. Already AP government, Centre have declared their joint plans to develop city into a smart city with a three-overhead corridor Metro Rail Project, many are vying up to set up their investments in Vizag. Adding to this, the rates in Vijayawada and Guntur have reached heights which compelling many to look towards Vizag which is expected to be future destination of IT industry.

Salman Khan's 'Kick' doing good business in Polan

Superstar Salman Khan starrer "Kick", that was released in many cities in Poland last week, is doing good business.

The film was released with Polish sub-titles and this helped Polish people, particularly the young, to enjoy the Bollywood masala fare thoroughly. The film is being shown in Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin, Poznan and in many important Polish cities.

"The response is very encouraging and the exhibitor is very happy," said J. J. Singh, president of the Indo-Polish Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IPCCI) who was actively involved in the shooting of "Kick".

The climax of this film was completed in the Polish capital in April this year when Salman could not get a British visa to shoot in London. The British authorities had refused a visa as Salman was facing charges in a Mumbai court.

This forced producer and director Sajid Nadiadwala to select Warsaw locations for dare-devil action scenes. A Polish company Film Polska had joined hands with Nadiadwala to finish the shooting speedily. It was only a two-week schedule.

Obviously Poles are very excited to see the action scenes.

"It is great to see our favourite Indian actor do amazing stunts scenes, whether he was jumping from Warsaw's highest building, the Palace of Culture or a bus was thrown from a bridge over the Vistula river," said Daria Dulok, a young Polish woman who is doing her doctorate on Bollywood culture.

It was the first time that an Indian film unit had selected Warsaw. Earlier in the winter of 2006, Aamir Khan, Kajol and Suniel Shetty had come to film the climax of "Fanna" on Tatra mountains.

According to J.J. Singh, Ajay Devgn has selected Krakow for his next film and he is going to spend ten to fifteen weeks to shoot in April to June next year. Devgn had come to Poland in September to finalise the formalities and has signed a contract with Film Polska of Krakow to provide his unit all the logistics.

"It is really very encouraging that Poland finally has become a destination for Bollywood actors and producers. This year in July and August, Riteish Deshmukh had brought his unit to shoot 'Bangistaan' in Krakow, which is the most beautiful area in Poland.

"We have well qualified technicians and other support staff which is very professional. One Polish cinematographer Artur Zurawski did a commendable job when he shot Rani Mukherji's 'Mardani'," said Janusz Krzyzowski, president of the Warsaw branch of the India-Polish Cultural Committee.

After supporting Rainbow hospitals for many of their causes, now Mahesh has shot an Advertisement for the hospital. Director Trivikram who made Athadu, Khaleja including Santoor and few other commercials starring Mahesh Babu has wielded the megaphone for this Ad.

Mahesh who is busy shooting for untitled Koratala Siva flick took three days for the Rainbow Hospitals Ad. Meanwhile, Trivikram is shooting for untitled Allu Arjun, Samantha starrer.

Naga Chaitanya’s next gets a title

Director Sudheer Varma, scored a good hit with his first film Swamy Ra Ra. His latest film with Naga Chaitanya is currently on the floors and is fast completing its shoot. From the past few days, there were few reports making the rounds regarding the film’s title. Several names popped up but the director himself denied all those titles.

Now according to the latest update, yet another title ‘Hari Lo Ranga Hari’ is making the rounds. Though an official confirmation is yet to be received from the makers, this title looks quite apt for this flick. Naga Chaitanya is paired opposite Kriti Sanon in this project and Sunny.M.R who had scored good marks for his work in Swamy Ra Ra is composing the music.

Kriti Sanon to work with Shah Rukh Khan?

Mumbai: After an impressive debut in Heropanti earlier this year, it was a given that newbie Kriti Sanon won’t be seen in any and every other film. In fact, she has been choosing her films carefully and hence her next films are slated to be Singh Is Bling and Farzi, where she has Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor respectively for company.

The latest buzz is that the actress has been auditioning for Farhan Akhtar's Raaes. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and will be directed by Rahul Dholakia. While Farhan Akhtar has allotted his dates for Rock On 2, the actor has opted out of his other home production Raees, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan.

Censor Tension For Rowdy Fellow?

Nara Rohith's upcoming movie 'Rowdy Fellow' is slated for a release on this Friday, November 21, across the globe. But what is still unclear about the movie's chances in hitting the screens on the scheduled date. With Censoring still going on, one wonders when the Board will issue certificate and help the flick release on promoted date. According to reports, Censor Board officials are watching the flick right now at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.

By the time we got this information, they are halfway through watching second half of the flick. Probably officials will finish all the formalities by evening and issue a certificate. Generally they take 3 days to issue the certificate, but it is heard that Nara Rohit was given exception as screening of the flick got delayed due to non-availability of Censor members. By tonight, Certification is expected and then hard-disks of 'Rowdy Fellow' will start flying to screens across the globe. Hope everything goes well.

Manchu family 'Kabadi Match' For Money

Manchu family who responded first when Hudhud cyclone devastated Visakhapatnam, with Manchu Manoj postponing his film Current Teega release and flying to the steel city to oversee and participate in the relief operations are once again getting ready to mesmerise all with 'Kabadi Match' in Memu Saitam marathon entertainment by Tollywood to raise funds for hudhud victims in a grand manner.

According to the latest it is coming out that Manchu family members Mohan Babu, Manchu Manoj, Manchu Vishnu, Lakshmi Prasanna will form two groups and play kabaddi match. The non stop entertainment program will be held on Nov 30th and many stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR are coming with their own programs. All the funds collected will be donated to AP Chief Minister relief fund.

Ajith enters Bollywood with 'Player Ek Khiladi'

Thala Ajith will soon be seen in Bollywood. Though it's not a straight Hindi film, Ajith starrer Aarambam is set to be dubbed in Hindi as 'Player Ek Khiladi'. While the movie was initially planned to be remade, the latest news is that the makers have decided to dub the movie. With the dubbing work going on, the film is expected to release later next month.

Cine Korn is reported to have bagged the dubbing rights of Arrambam and have titled the film as Player Ek Khiladi. The film directed by Vishnuvardhan, stars Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya, Taapsee and Rana in the lead.

Shruti Haasan joins Vijay, Sridevi's fantasy film

Shruti Haasan has finally joined the principal shooting of her upcoming fantasy film in Chimbudevan's direction. The actress is teaming up for the first time in her career with Vijay and the film also stars Sridevi, Hansika and Sudeep in important roles. She had signed the film earlier this year; however, her role in the film has been kept under wraps, although she did acknowledge in an earlier interview that it's a fabulous script. Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil cinema after a gap of almost 26 years and she's playing the role of a queen whereas Hansika is playing her daughter's role. A song was canned on Vijay and Hansika recently in a special set erected in Chennai.

I am not acting with Vivek Oberoi: Tamannaah

For the past few days, rumours have been abuzz that Tamannaah will be teaming up with Vivek Oberoi for a Hindi film, which will be an adaptation of Tuhin Sinha's novel, Of Love and Politics. However, the actress has denied signing any such film. Responding to reports in a section of media, the actress took to her official page saying, "This is to clarify that I am not in discussions with any Hindi movie with Vivek as indicated in some media reports today. I have not been approached by anyone for this as yet. (sic)." Meanwhile, the actress is currently busy with Baahubali and she'll soon begin shooting for M Rajesh's upcoming Tamil film in which she's paired up with Arya. Apart from Baahubali, she has also signed Sampath Nandi's next film, Bengal Tiger which has Ravi Teja in the lead role.
