Lakshmi Manchu's Pilavani Perantam launched
Lakshmi Manchu is on a roll these days. After playing one of the important roles in Chandamama Kathalu, the actress has become quite selective about her roles. Recently, she shot for a family drama titled Budugu and now, she'll be soon seen in a horror comedy titled Pilavani Perantam. Directed by Venkanna Babu, the film also stars Dhanraj and Siya Gautam in lead roles. The film was officially launched earlier today in Hyderabad and K Raghavendra Rao, Manchu Manoj graced the occasion.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Venkanna Babu said, "When I met Lakshmi Manchu to narrated the story, she agreed to do the film in just 15 minutes and I thank her for accepting the role. It's a very interesting film and I would also like to thank Dhanraj, who helped us a lot to write the story. A top actor is going to play the villain's role in this film and we'll reveal his name in future." The principal photography of the film is expected to begin from December 1.Vijay Kurakula is going to score the music.
