KCR Banner Burnt at TRS Bhavan
Telangana Chief Minister KCR's massive cutout arranged at TRS Bhavan in Banjara Hills road no 12 was burnt by few miscreants on Wednesday night. Few unidentified persons have torn the huge cutout of KCR and later lit the fire to it, according to police.
Knowing about the incident, TRS activists and KCR's supporters rushed to the spot and staged a protest on the road. They have blocked the road and created a chaotic atmosphere. Police intervened into the matter and persuaded the angry protesters by assuring that the culprits will be brought to book. Police have promised protesters that miscreants will be identified based on CCTV footage. With this, protesters agreed to give way for public.
It may be recalled that director Ram Gopal Varma has made "sensational" comments on KCR's cutouts at TRS Bhavan a while ago and faced the wrath of TRS activists and Telangana filmmakers.
