* Govindudu Andarivadele is the story of an NRI who returns to his native village to reunite with his extended family. Ram Charan plays the role of an NRI who visits his joint family where he has to bridge the gap between his father and his father’s younger brother. Govindudu Andarivadele Review and rating.

* Apart from Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal, Srikanth, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Rahman and Adarsh Balakrishna played other important roles.

* The movie is directed by Krishna Vamsi and produced by Bandla Ganesh on Parameswara Art Productions banner.

* It is reported that Charan will attend the film’s premiere show at USA on September 30, 2014 along with other team members.

* The total running time of the film is approximately 140 minutes.

* The movie has been produced with an estimated Budget of about 30 crore (US$4.9 million)

* Prior to the film’s release, Gemini TV acquired the film’s satellite rights for an amount of Rs.9 crores.

* Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film’s music which marks his first collaboration with Krishna Vamsi, Srikanth and Ram Charan.

* The soundtrack consists of 6 songs all composed by Yuvan. The soundtrack was successful and the songs topped the charts. Aditya Music acquired the soundtrack rights for an undisclosed price.

* Sameer Reddy and Naveen Nuli handled the cinematography and editing of the film respectively.

* The film is partially inspired from the 1991 Telugu classic “Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu” directed by Kranthi Kumar.

* Majority of the film was shot in Hyderabad, Rameswaram, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Pollachi and Karaikudi in India, while significant portions were shot in London and Jordan in abroad.

* The film was awarded an ‘U/A’ certificate by Central Board of Film Certification. Few sources reported that few romantic songs and scenes between the lead pair were the main reason for awarding an ‘U/A’ Certificate instead of a clean ‘U’. The censor board asked the film makers to obtain a No Objection Certificate from Animal Welfare Board of India in order to retain scenes featuring animals and deleted few romantic scenes apart from muting few double-meaning dialogues.

* The teaser received very good response from the critics and the viewers. Reviewing the teaser, a leading National Daily wrote “This film is no poor regional cousin of Bollywood. It’s got color, good-looking stars with baddies to boot and loads of song and dance executed with a finesse that only Indian film industry can.”

* The teaser sure has raised out hope. A lot of importance seems to be given to the rustic village backdrop with green fields and bullock carts and big ancestral bungalows. The film gave equal importance to family, tradition and romance, with all the important characters getting a decent exposure.

* Krishna Vamsi took utmost care that the film convinces all the sections of families and mega fans. From lush paddy fields to festive Indian family lives, the movie has all necessary ingredients in it. A shot of Ram Charan Teja riding a bullock cart is really amazing.

* Prakash Raj’s role will turn out be one of the highlights of the film. He will be seen in a powerful role which will be crucial to the film.

* The distribution rights of the film in Ceded region were sold for about Rs.8.10 crores including prints & publicity costs which is the highest amount for a Ram Charan’s film till date.The rights in Nellore region were sold to Hari Pictures for an amount of Rs.2 crores which is a record price in the region. Bandla Ganesh himself distributed the film in Nizam and Krishna regions.

* Govindhudu Andharivadele has super climax. Creative director Krishna Vamsi has weaved an extraordinary emotional climax portion for the film which is said to be giving goose bumps.

* The whole movie unit of ‘‘Govindhudu Andharivadele’ have been very confident about scoring a blockbuster.
