Talk Of Town: Baahubali Statue Feat!
SS Rajamouli does everything for a reason. Even the weapons of his protagonists and the statues shows in his movies will have a huge prominence. Yet again, Jakkanna has come up with an idol!
The latest addition to magnum opus 'Baahubali' is a 100-feet statue. It is learnt that this is one of the largest statues ever installed just for sake of a feature film.
Rajamouli heaped praises on Art Director for designing it and first master for bringing it to perfect position. "Sabu Cyril made a 100 foot statue for Baahubali. Geting this giant into position was a humongous job which requires a great deal of knowledge in structural engineering. It was achieved by peter hein who didn’t attend even primary school. He worked for 40hrs non stop. Respect," he says, apart from informing the statue is no way related to Gomateshwara.
Currently, Shooting of 'Baahubali' is progressing in a specially erected set at Ramoji Film City. Prabhas, Anushka and Key Artistes are taking part the shoot of this schedule.
