Shweta Basu gets three months custody
National award winning actress Shweta Basu has admitted that she took prostitution as professional as she was running out of income.
This bold 23 year actress was arrested by police and was sent to state-run rescue home. She Said, Because of wrong choices, she lost opportunities and was out of money , even lost support of her family and some people encouraged her to get into prostitution to earn money, seh accepted as she had no other choice.
She underwent a medical examination at a government hospital and was sent to rescue home where she would be given vocational training for three months as part of custody along with with free food, clothing and medical care .
She bagged the national award for best child artist for “Makdee” in 2002. She was reportedly collecting Rs.1 lakh each from high fi customers.
