New software for Hyderabad Police to help in crimes
Hyderabad: The police departments in all over the country are likely to be benefitted with the introduction of the new software which has been approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs. The Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) Project has been initiated with the outlay of Rs.2000 crore.
The CCTNS project aims at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of policing at the Police Stations spreading across the nation through adoption of principles of e-Governance.
