‘Aashiqui 2’ writer to make her directorial debut
Shagufta Rafique, is a Bollywood screenwriter who has been acclaimed for her work in films like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Raaz 3D’ ‘Murder 2’ is all set to make her directorial debut. This multi talented lady will soon direct a sensuous love story which deals with a heinous gang rape and she has roped in Richa Chaddha and Ali Fazal for the lead roles. Previously, they worked together for ‘Fukrey’. Bhushan Kumar and Pooja Bhatt are jointly producing this film and according to Bhushan Kumar, the story is very heart touching and his glad for backing Shagufta for making her directorial debut.
This untitled film is slated to go on floors in October and is slated to release sometime in 2015. Mukul Dev, Gulshan Grover, Imam Siddiqui, Ajaz Khan among others play a major role in this film.
