Aagadu to release in record number of screens in US
Superstar Mahesh Babu's Telugu actioner "Aagadu" will release in a staggering 159 screens in US this Friday, says producer Anil Sunkara.
It is said to be he highest number of screens for a Telugu film. "In a record number of 159 screens, 'Aagadu' will be the first Telugu film to have a wide release in the US. Thanks to our distribution partner Eros International, we're releasing the film in over 100 screens in North India," Anil Sunkara said.
"It's not easy to get so many screens in the North for a Telugu film. Eros has made that possible for us and we're delighted about it," he said.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, Aagadu also features Tamanna Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Brahmanandam and Shruti Haasan in important roles.
Anil Sunkara is confident about the film's success. "Audiences have been patiently waiting for the film. I'm sure they won't be disappointed. We are confident about being successful," he added.
