First International Rose Exhibition in Hyderabad
Hyderabad:Rose lovers in India will have a field day in November. The World Federation of Rose Society will hold a global rose show in Hyderabad, where representatives from 80 countries will display the flowers, from November 29 to December 2 this year.
Besides displaying a wide variety of roses, the show will present modern techniques in raising rose nurseries and best practices to the rose lovers. Indian Rose Society and the Telangana Government would join the regional conference held by the WFRS.
The Hyderabad meeting is a precursor to the global conference scheduled to be held at Lyon in France in May 2015.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao reviewed the arrangements for the conference with the Government officials.
“The Chief Minister has said that the potential for export of roses was immense,” a Government statement said here on Thursday.
