Ajith eyes Pongal release yet again
Post releasing Siruthai Siva directed Veeram for 2014 Pongal, Thala Ajith is gearing up for 2015 Pongal release with Gautham Menon directing untitled Thala 55.
From the time Ajith-Gauthtam Menon project was announced there is lot of excitement among fans of Thala. Makers have hyped their enthusiasm with interesting Thala 55 cast including Anushka, Trisha, Arun Vijay, baby Anikha, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vivek and others.
Now that the film is nearing completion, Ajith fans are eagerly awaiting for the title. But Gautam Menon has noted the audience psychology right and is deliberately keeping it secret. Filmmaker is keen to declare Thala 55 title only a few days before its audio launch.
Thala 55 has reportedly completed 80% of shooting and will shoot the remaining film in Hyderabad. AM Ratnam producing Thala 55 will get ready by the end of this year, so that it could be a Pongal release.
