The Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) is located in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India and regional offices in various districts of Meerut, Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh and Moradabad. It was established on May 1, 2010 after separation of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). This university was established to provides higher education in technical and research science. A lot of colleges are affiliated with this university. The university is recognized by the university grant commission. The university has total 31 postgraduate and 50 under graduate departments which offers various degree courses of B. Tech, B.A., B. Ed, B. Com, M.A., M. Com, MCA, MBA, LLB and other courses semester wise – 1st Sem, 2nd Sem, 3rd Sem, 4th Sem, 5th Sem and 6th Sem. Every year a large number of students enrolled with the university. The university conducts the semester examination and annual examination. The university conducts the annual examination in the month of March to May and provides the time tablein the month of December and January every year. This year also the university will soon announced the MTU Date Sheet 2015 in the last week of December 2014 on its official website at www.mtu.ac.in or www.uptu.ac.in.
