The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the second largest professional accounting body in the world. It was established on 1 July 1949 as a body corporate under the CharteredAccountants Act to regulate the auditing and financial accounting profession in India. The headquarters of the ICAI is located at New Delhi, India, but the regional official is located at Mumbai (WIRC), Kolkata (EIRC), Chennai (SIRC) and Kanpur (CIRC). It conducts Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) for filling Chartered Accountancy posts every year. Recently the ICAI was announced the notification for CA CPT exam 2014. A large number of interested and eligible candidates have filled theapplication form via online mode from official website.
