The first day collections of Ram Charan-starrer Govindudu Andarivadele (GAV) have created a new record at the Tollywood box office. Even before the release, the expectations were that the film might set a new record and set new parameters of success, largely due to the festive season.

Trade reports say that the Krishna Vamsi directorial amassed approximately 2.30 cr in Nizam while Ceeded registered around 1. 6 cr. While East Godavari collected around 1 cr, the collections in Guntur were around 1.24 crs.
