Mahesh Babu’s recent release Aagadu , despite of huge publicity campaign for over a month before release could not fetch collections comparatively with Ramcharan’s Govindudu Andarivadele collections , which was released with very low publicity. Moreover Charan’s GAV was released on a Working day -Wednesday.

Aagadu Screen average was 1.08 Lakhs per screen and Govindudu Screen average is 1.14 lakhs per screen . If Govindudu was released in as many theaters as Aagadu , it would have fetched 10.20 crore, says the stats.   Interestingly Aagadu is a mass genre film and has more advantage  than family genre film like Govindudu, However Star stamina plays a vital role in fetching collections on day one.
