MBBS, BDS Second Counselling Begins
The second counselling for MBBS and BDS courses began on Friday at NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS). Candidates from special categories (Children of Army Personnel – CAP, police martyrs, physically challenged and NCC cadets) were given admission to medical and dental colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Counselling for candidates from the open categories will begin on September 20 at NTRUHS and four other venues including two in Telangana. During the counselling held at NTRUHS on Friday, Vice-Chancellor T. Ravi Raju presented a certificate of admission to the first seat in the sub-category of CAP to S. Srilakshmi, daughter of Sepoy Koti Reddy who lost both his legs during Operation Pawan in Sri Lanka. She got the admission to Guntur Medical College.
Deputy Registrar V.V. Subba Rao and Sainik Welfare Officer Murali Mohan were present.
