EdCET 2014 Counselling Today
Visakhapatnam: The process of certificate verification for EdCET-2014 counselling will be on from September 21 to 28. The exercising options will begin from September 23 and continue till October 1, a release issued by convener Prof Nimma Venkata Rao said here on Saturday.
He informed that qualified candidates are required to be present on the notified date and time at the notified 40 helpline centres (24 in Telangana State and 16 in Andhra Pradesh) with all relevant original certificates, one set of attested Xerox copies and the processing fee.
Candidates can visit for registration, methodology and rank-wise verification any of the helpline centres with original certificates.
They include hall-ticket, rank card, degree provisional, memo of marks along with pass certificate of Intermediate or its equivalent, SSC , study certificates from ninth class to graduation, residence for preceding seven years of the qualifying examination ( i.e. degree in respect of candidates who are private candidates without any institutionalised education), integrated community, residence proof of father or mother for a period of 10 years in AP or TS, excluding the period of their employment outside AP or /TS from MRO (in case of non- local candidates), TC, income from MRO taken after January 1, 2014 and minority.
The convener said the helpline centres for special categories (NCC/CAP/Sports/PH) are at AU College of Engineering (A), Visakhapatnam, Nizam College, Bashirbhag, Hyderabad, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, University Arts and Science College, Subadari, Warangal. The fee is to be paid at the respective college only.
